The Zvox is a great speaker for people who can't stand all the loud music in a show and who spend most of their time saying "what did he say?" "what did she say?" This clever small box is so simple to use even an oldster like me can take it from the box, hook it up and be using it in a matter of minutes. The remote is very basic....I LOVE that. There is a control for turning down the sound on loud aggravating commercials and a button for lifting the voice up from all the other wasted sounds. I called the company with a quick question regarding using the speaker on a Olevia flat screen (many things are NOT compatable with Olevia) and the service man was very helpful. He offered to send a different cable at no charge should I not be able to get it to work. After his direction, I knew immediately that it would work. Great company and great support. The speaker has a great appearance and is made rock solid. Don't expect this to be a surround sound system....after all, it's one little box. Do expect great sound quality which surpasses many other over priced systems. Some people walk in and can't figure out where all the great sound is coming from. Buy this speaker....you won't regret it.
