Love this System. It is an excellent system, especially for the price. It seems like some of the negative reviews are simply due to the fact that the people are not configuring this product properly. For example there are four different bass settings for the sub woofer: soft, balanced, strong, and powerful. By default it is usually at balanced so before complaining about weak sub change the setting to strong and powerful. Also the loud fan noise, shutting off, etc is due to heating. So make sure the area around the vents is good for good airflow. Others complain about weird echoing as they watch tv. This is because usually you tv is playing sound as well and the amp plays the sound slightly delayed. To take care of this simply turn the tv's volume to 0. The only thing I didnt like about this unit is the remote as sometimes you have to press the buttoms multiple times or firmly to get a response but at this price you can complain. As a electrical engineer and audio enthusiastic I can say this unit is excellent for the price and so far I love it.
